Since 2018, Théo is fully dedicated to the art of analog photography. His first solo exhibition in Paris, entitled Urban Tapestry, presented his work realized between 2021 and 2023 in the United States.
For Théo, photography is a way to highlight the human behaviors that by their singularity embellish the daily life of those who observe them. It is the anticipation of the happy and totally unexpected discovery that suddenly triggers the desire to stop time by the magic of the cliché, not without the requirement and parsimony that the film requires.
This series of photographs reveals singular moments of everyday life that invite the visitor to contemplate the many facets of urban life and to appreciate the delicate balance of individuality within the collective space. With his camera, Theo freezes the beauty that emerges from these actors of our daily life persevering in their habit.
Urban Tapestry is a play between shadow and light that draws the contours of these fleeting moments that come together to reveal the beauty of the city, frozen in time by the photographer’s lens.
